This was the first sketch I did for The Marvels Project promotional series. It was a little tamer than what they had imagined, wanting instead a more disturbing take on the scientific process. As seen previously, I gladly obliged. The study is done in pencil on 11 x 14 vellum bristol board and toned digitally. The words are my own as well (now I can say that I write for Marvel too).
