When pressed for time, I tend to experiment more in the reference stage, trying out various versions of a particular pose. It's often easier to choose from a set of options than to come up with the right pose from scratch. Drinking doesn't help, either.

ReplyDeleteAlways love seeing the process from pencil to full color. It's great poses and expressions like these that are so hard to come up with without reference.

ReplyDeleteChristina, he can't (at least not for long). He drinks about half the bottle here and goes through all the stages of being drunk in the course of the page. But yes, the Canadian whisky did help.
