See Paolo, I told you that Wolverine piece was awesome, congrats man well deserved!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Hopefully next year I'll get a piece in myself. I still think Persistence of Wolverine is beyond cool, can't wait to buy this copy of the book.
ReplyDeletePaolo! love the work! amazing as usual. this may be a dumb question but i was trying to figure out the horizon line(s) for the Young Allies but not quite sure! Can you let me know!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Paolo! Love the Persistence of Wolverine. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everybody!
ReplyDeleteCraig, I'm looking forward to seeing your piece in print (not just on the screen).
Francis, each section of the montage has its own horizon line. In the last image, the line goes through Cap's left boot, just below the heel. It's also at an angle, which might be confusing things. Let me know if your have further questions.
That was what I thought where the horizon was. I think I got confused because it was at an angle haha well thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo prob, Francis. I need to do a whole series of posts on perspective. I've developed a couple of really helpful (and really simple) techniques on this latest project.
ReplyDeleteLove the composition line on the first one.
ReplyDeleteSweet man! looking forward to it! Lenny's way of perspective is way too technical hahah
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alejandro!
ReplyDeleteFrancis, pay attention to Lenny whilst you can! Those technicalities, once mastered, will give you the freedom to draw "from the gut" later on.
Congrats, Paolo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christina! I'll save a Call for Entries poster for you. You ever coming back to NYC?
