  1. How many hours did it took you finish this masterpiece?

    1. Heh... thanks. Took me almost 22 hours, sketch to colors. And 4.75 hours of inks for my Dad.

  2. When you draw the human figure, do you start with a skeleton type base or do you just freehand the muscles? Because its always hard for me to position the muscles on the ribcage. Always looks kinda wrong.

    1. It's so ingrained at this point that I don't really think of things separately — it's just one cohesive gesture. That being said, there are usually major points on the figure that help me find the form. Things like joints, prominent muscles, ears, collar bones, really help to turn the figure in my mind.

      Ultimately, it just takes lots of practice. My best advice: sculpture will give you the education you need.

  3. In the photoshop image, the black outline, was that done in Photoshop as well? And if so, did you import it and go from there? Sorry, the last time I used photoshop was CS2 lol.

    1. Are you referring to the "work in progress" pic? No, the black outline are my Dad's inks, which he scans and I crop & paste into the document.
