  1. As a dog person I've got to say, fantastic job on the hound!

    I am curious, though, about what breed might have been the inspiration, if there was one? Having not read this yet (issues 1 and 2 shall be mine by the end of the week), the cover looks very borzoi to me (my own breed), but the dog in the actual panels looks to have a bit more afghan hound/taigan.

    Looking forward to reading this.

    1. Thanks for noticing! I based "Buddy" on several different Borzoi, but the cover is the only place in the story where we actually get to see him in his natural state. That being the case, I took many liberties and just drew what I thought would look cool.
