Finally getting to paint the pin-up you've been wanting to paint since watching the Watchmen in the theater: Priceless.
I had a great time this weekend in Philly. A big thanks goes out to Wizard for having me as their guest. I even ordered room service for the first time in my life.
I'll have plenty of pin-ups and photos from the con over the next few posts, so here's the first batch. Enjoy.
Nothing beats Jack Skellington posing for Jubilee.
I'd be interested in hearing your reaction about the con. Mike Manley's report was pretty much that it was lame and Wizard Philly is doomed ;)
ReplyDeleteThe crowd seemed pretty thin from photos I've seen.
Hey Paolo! It was great meeting you at Wizard World Philly. Thanks alot for taking the time to check my work. Hope you enjoyed yourself this year.

I love how your Vampirella looks a bit like Lucy Lawless. Rawr!
ReplyDeleteMichael, I actually had one of my best shows, so I'm definitely not the one to ask. As for the crowds, one of the main reasons I always like Philly is that there's room to move. However, this was the first year I've been that Marvel didn't have a booth.
ReplyDeleteRon, it was nice meeting you too, thanks for showing me your work.
Christina, I hadn't thought of that, but I see what you mean. Lawless is awesome.
That was both incredibly creepy and incredibly impressive at the same time! Ha ha ha. Hey... wait... who's that handsome fella in the green shirt back there? :-P
ReplyDeleteCaprotti: It's you... it's you
ReplyDeleteGlad u enjoyed painting Dr. Manhattan for me Paolo, he is a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see that movie, all I can hear is the Mastercard voice.
