I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know about some upcoming events.
Comics Conspiracy Signing
Sunday, November 5
12-2pm PT
My dad, Joe Rivera, will be there as well, if you'd like to get some books signed. I won't be able to take any commissions while there, but if you'd like to purchase a print through my shop ahead of time, I can bring it to the signing (and refund shipping charges).
Comic Art Live Auction
Sunday, November 12
10-11am PT
This will be an online event, but you'll have the chance to bid on 5 new 4x6" headshots. You've probably seen me post these on social media, but I'll post again as we get closer to the show. Hope to see you there!
Other News:
My Thundercats APs have been delayed. I received my first batch, but didn't like the finish on them (they were too glossy). I'll let you know when I have them in hand again. While I had hoped that I'd be able to take on some new remarques, that probably won't happen until early 2024.
I'll be doing a 6-issue cover run for Action Comics, the first of which can be seen above. These have been a ton of fun, and I can't wait to share the rest of them. I've rediscovered a passion of mine: lavish rendering of frivolous sight gags.
