Well, we made it to Wacky Reference no. 400! Although I spend a good deal of time on social media, I don't want to let this blog languish too much. It's still nice to have a dedicated site for longer posts.
This issue hits shelves today (and you can see a
preview here). It's my last of 7 covers for this series, which has been a joy to work on, especially since I got to collaborate with Daniel Acuña, one of the best in the business.
I actually like the black & white version better, perhaps because I was inspired so heavily by
Hugh Ferriss. Most of his work that I'm familiar with is monochromatic.
Hope y'all enjoy the peek behind the scenes. Onward to 500!
