Jeff Lemire and
Matt Kindt's script called for a storybook illustration to be interspersed with the main action. This was a great opportunity for the writers (artists in their own right) to showcase their skills (and do my work for me). Jeff provided the drawings, while Matt handled colors — my part was done completely in Photoshop, primarily using
KyleBrush's Rough Inker.
