For reflective surfaces, it always helps to have good reference. And while
Ferro Lad is a bit shinier than most iron, I'm assuming he's nicely polished. The 3D model below is something I sculpted in
Sculptris, a free program you should all be using. Many materials (
matcaps) come standard with the download, but I created this one by searching for images of shiny spheres online and making the desired adjustments. Such is my life.

ReplyDeleteYep! Although, I should say that it was an anatomical figure I had already made for myself a couple years ago. Then I just smoothed out certain features to make the mask.
DeleteDude, that's still really good. Have a sort of permanent 3D model to help. Amazing.
