This was in the batch of commissions I recently finished from NYCC last year. (I'm perpetually behind.) I used several kinds of reference to get just what I was looking for.

On the left is a picture of me at my desk (pardon the man-bun). Second is the classic panel by
John Buscema from Avengers #58. Next up is a lighting rig courtesy of
Handy, an art reference app. And finally, my own anatomy sculpture in
Sculptris.
